Research training:
07.2010 – 10.2010 Academic Intern at Rice University & Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA, project focused on a method of synthesizing a new type of hybrid nanoshell nanoparticles especially suited for biotechnology applications. The new particles are nanoshell-based multilayer nanoparticles with ICG dye molecules and iron oxide nanoparticles incorporated in the layers to create a “theranostic” nanoparticles;
