1994 - 1999 - MSc studies at Wroclaw University of Technology (WUT) - research work in  the Group of Physics and Chemistry of Molecular Materials– Spectroscopic studies of kinetics of photochromic materials, MSc dissertation "Kintecis of isomerisation of an amphiphilic azobenze derivative"
1997 - 1998 - Kingston University (KU, London, UK), School of Applied Chemistry,(Tempus exchange programme) research: Synthesis and research  on properties of  inorganic liquid crystal V2O5
1999 - 2003 - PhD studies at the Institute of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry "Photoactive liquid crystal systems"

Interests:

Liquid crystals as they are simply beautiful and useful
Bioimaging as it is fascinaiting and very important
All optical and electrical properties of photoactive materials mainly for photovoltaics
Photonics in general, even though I am not a specialist
Material Science as broad as it is

Hobby focused on science, but also books and travelling. Enjoy backpacking – overland travel form Poland to India (1998) and from Poland to Thailand (1999), interested in culture of south-east Asia. Second prize winner in „Meet China 2000” competition organised by People’s Republic of China Embassy in Warsaw. 2003 - journey to Central America, 2007-South-East Asia, 2009 - Australia :)
